Goodbye 2008!

Hi all,

2008 is coming to an end...what an eventful year for me and my dear daddy & mummy! Check out the misc pics D&M took of me along the journey to 2009! Stay tuned for more updates in the coming year and I embark on my growing up journey of growing teeth, eating solid food etc, walking....many more adventures to follow up!

Wishing all a great 2009 ahead and thank you all for showering me with love, kisses (plus saliva), gifts and attention! what a joy it is to be a baby!

Striking lovely poses with Baby Iona from UK! She's back and finds the local temperature too hot...just like me, we both need the aircon!

Daddy decided to implement some BMT, so I have to do my push ups daily...with the assistance of a bolster!

Ok, sir, can I be dismiss?

Marcus Ge-Ge making fun of me, wait till I can run...I will "tear" him apart! =P

Daddy brought mummy, po-po and me to HortPark...but we had little success completing the walk as it rained. Mummy is the "rain" god as it seemed to rain on the few occasions we thinking of going!

I love to be carried, especially by mummy...cos the comfort of knowing your food source is with you beats anything! I can even sleep in her arms...=)

But then again, I sleep anywhere I want...a baby needs plenty of sleep but not the parents! haha!

We went to the nearby Jln Kayu for breakfast one of the mornings with Ye-Ye, Ma-Ma, Uncle Eddie & Aunt Hazel. "hey bro, I have not ordered my roti and tea tarik!"

Sometimes, I just love lazing around, daydreaming (reflecting?)......and sometimes I just love to create some fun for D&M by urinating or shitting on their bed!

Dun I look like a scholar from ancient china? hehe...btw, I've outgrown the hat now!

oh mine...more training for me...D&M is thinking of getting a tub for me to try swimming now!

Daddy took me and mummy to a nice hangout at Seletar Camp. Sunset Grill & Bar where one can catch the sunset with the propeller planes zooming around. Nice view, nice food too!
Halo waiter, I need my buffalo wings done up in Grade 4 (hotness)!
See, D&M did not even spare me my daily regime of excersie despite being in Malaysia! OMG!

Hey, dun I look cool & relax? It's end of the year, festive mood, chill out and enjoy!

My First Overseas Trip! - Melaka (18-21 Dec) - Day 3

Day 3 is the day we are making our way back home. D&M started out the day early with a pitstop at a Bak Ku Teh shop that looks to be quite packed with locals which we discovered while scouring around town yesterday. Gong Gong & Po Po like this dish a lot...so here we are!

Check out the happy grins on Po Po & Gong Gong! Mummy too!

Claypot Bak Ku Teh! Comes with lots of ingridents such as oyster mushrooms, button mushrooms, meat balls, tau ki & of course the Bak Ku!

Gong Gong & Po Po tucking in earnestly into the sedap (delicious) meal!
After the hearty Bak Ku Teh breakfast, Daddy drove us down to Muar to tour the place around and also this is the main town of my paternal grandparents. So I can pay my respects to them...
So here I am with Daddy standing in front of the temple housing the ashes of my paternal grandma. Daddy makes a yearly trip here with Ye Ye during the Qing Ming festival and visits the graves of the forefathers. wonder when I can join him on his trips?
Gong Gong & Mummy posing for pics too before offering incense to the deities at this temple.
Thereafter, we heading to a local restaurant to grab a quick lunch before heading back to Singapore. Here, naughty mummy is making fun of me again!
Home Sweet Home! We finally reached backed home after a 622km drive over the past 3 days, taking us about 3hrs on the return journey, with no summons, no speeding (daddy claims this is the first time the speedometer stays within the speed limit & all because I'm around..hehe) and lots of local product. The boot is so heavy that the handling of the car is affected as claimed by Daddy - the sole driver. Adious and till my next trip in March!

My First Overseas Trip! - Melaka (18-21 Dec) - Day 2

I had a good rest at the hotel...sleeping through the night without any milk calls...D&M were amazed...guess maybe because I was tired from the long car journey....which I also slept through...haha...sleep more so when D&M bringing me out, I could see more stuff right?
Check out the pics of our Day 2 activities below...

Daddy brought us down to the Eye of Malaysia (similar to Singapore Flyer) to snap some pics.

Here's one for the family album

Gong Gong & Po Po also pose for the album

Daddy & me posing with the trusted vehicle loaned by Ye Ye & Ma Ma for this trip...

We drove around town to find a place to get Dim Sum for brunch...Daddy was smart to try out the chinese locals town and indeed we found a gem for nice dim sum! As the saying goes, where there are chinese, there will be dim sum...haha...that's what Daddy told us!

After the satisfiying dim sum brunch, we headed to Tan Kim Hock foodstuff to get the local produce such as coffee powder, piahs, chilli paste, lime honey conc etc...spent a total of close to 500RM!

Check out the mountain of local produce at this famed shop

Even our minister was here to get some stuff!
Here's the founder himself..Mr Tan! But not Daddy (Eric Tan)!

After Po Po & Mummy had made their purchases for the local produce, we had a pitstop back at hotel before heading to nearby Mahkota Parade for some window shopping...Daddy posing with me in front of a X'mas Tree deco with Teddy Bears...Daddy, are you getting me one?

Ya, and D&M decided to take me as a specimen to get a wax figurine of my feet...which got me frighten and burst out screaming and crying at the top of my lungs!

No No!!! Dun wax me!!! I'm not into waxing!!!
here's the finished wax figurine!

For dinner, Daddy drove around town and found another gem...Chinese food...which won the best restaurant of the year...lots of S plate cars at this place...must be good...cos Singaporeans are famed for sniffing out good food...haha...

But you all know that I'm still on milk only program...so I decide to take a nap while waiting for the food to be dished...then I can embark on my usual screams for milk cos I wanna eat with everybody too!

When comes to eating, mummy is always happy!

So much food again? The adults had Oyster Egg, Pork with black fungus, Sambal Prawns, Veggie with preserved egg, Cod Fish in 2 flavours...what a spread...while I only have....

but MILK only....with these flavours lor...so unfair...so I scream...haha...to disturb the adults from a peaceful meal...hehe...cheeky right?
