My First Water Encounter (Swim) - 22 Feb 2009

Today, D&M brought me to this lovely swimming pool at Anchorvale Swimming Complex which is about 20mins away from our home. The complex is really cool with lots of slides and water features to entertain kids like me...but alas, I'm still too young for them.

Upon entering the swimming complex, we are greeted with this beautiful sight of the water theme pools...whoa...all these at a public swimming complex..D&M are very impressed but I'm worried...check out my stress look!


Erh...can i dun wear this wetsuit? Can i dun try swimming? Pls.....=(

Mummy assured me that I'm in safe hands...as Daddy was trained in lifesaving previously...haha...but now with the weight gained..I ponder....hehe...but Daddy should be able to stand in the pool at the very least? haha...

First time I'm clinging on so tightly to Daddy...check out my frown look! This is stressful...

Daddy "warmed" me up to the cold water of the morning by dipping water slowly from the leg up....haha..should be "cooled" me up instead?? haha...check out Daddy sly looks...haha

ok, I'm ready...but let's do it slowly....ok daddy? Mummy, you not joining???

Daddy try to get me into this neck float that Mummy bought...but I dun like it cos it is uncomfortable...let's just proceed to swim...no frills!! haha....=P

Ok, the basics....kicking...this is my forte...haha..I kick a lot in mummy's tummy and after she given birth to me too. Maybe I will become a footballer?

Isn't there a clock here to tell time is up? It is getting sunny already...I'm a girl...I need my sunblock....there goes my fair skin...need the SKII already...

Ok, Daddy shifted me to a shady area....but I told him (through my grouchy behaviour) that time is up...

Everyone knows after a swim, you need a rest...so I grab a quick one in the stroller while strolling home...

As you can see, I need some "handling" in my personal renault F1...=)
